A VOID as artefact injects, induces, relumes and plays with the philosophical condition of the potentiality and emergence of world. Each and every A VOID act incorporates a reality play condition. It expands and meanders from rules of play as methodological constraint to Real Play as action beyond the book.
A VOID collects initiators and detonators of play, science theory, ’pataphysics, jouissance, tones of nuissance and nudity. The bookcase reflects all mantled in lacquer – the book has to be closed!

The ludic society exists to provoke an artistic research discipline best to be addressed as ludic studies. The goal is to provide a playful theoretical starting point of a methodology around the act of play as a state of transformation. Finally games as laboratory situations quit the experimental system into real games by real players. The main argument is the nascence of an experience based emotionally charged reflexion by playing through game systems, to all intents and purposes the il-ludere of illusion in the ludic-society.

Behind the books of physics and science, the methods and practices of ´pataphysika and pata-science fiction vanquish the physics of the rules of play. Similar to a ´pataphysical bike, ludics is a levitation model for a thinking machine, providing the salvation, that is embedded in the danger and joy of in-game technologies. In 'ludics'(Ludistik) life itself serves as optimum game engine, especially in its bodily qualities. For the penseur maudit, the wicked thinker, life play and illinx (Caillois, 1958) become the main interest.

tagged city play (2007)
Issue 3 features a collectively enplayed borglike Borgesian psycho-active‚pata-geographic play map as meta-game over the city. The injection of a writeable RFID chip can make our judgements stick. The tagged person becomes a blank field in a database craving to be filled in. The tag changes into a target, the roto-relief into a bull's eye... Ludic Society Members shoot RFID-tags under their skin and put a an invisible web of useless data over the cities. They only know one passion: the play with reality! gHack, Munich/Vienna

NORDLICHT BLITZplay (2007)
Issue 4 puts a focus on a playful 3rd life, according to J.L. Borges "Orbis Tertius" and Sir Karl Poppers "World3". "Play sure", as a motto of the ludic player in 2nd world game systems, uses World 3 conjectures or theories as instruments of change. The Popperian cosmology appears as very spartan juxtaposition to the idea of Second Life. play the mechanics! (2013)
The thinkers of Ludic Society understand play as a method to reorder and establish social and economic relations and to evaluate new systems of thought. In the beginning of this kind of theory, a political social utopia was outlined, in which aesthetics and arts are considered as the main vehicles of the creation of society. This aesthetic realm was expected to support the evolvement of a political field and society in play. In this definition of play we encounter a critique of capitalist restrictions and limitations of society by a proposal to use play as revolutionary practice.
